Radius Fenders on 22" inch Rollers

This car caught my attention one day browsing through some of Japan's best VIP car show galleries. Fir it is a UCF31, because of the updated sleeker headlights. It is sprayed in a very vibrant red, which is very traditional VIP styling. But what really stopped me at my tracks was the size of those wheels. Upon closer inspection, proportionally, they were 22" inch Auto Couture wheels. But how did they fit those wheels and slam the car without making it look like a Donk or a Box..?

Radius Fenders.

Japan has been doing this for a long time now and slowly is the US finally catching on. If you truly want to custom a set of crazy fitment wheels to your car, you gotta Radius your fenders. What does that mean? Take a closer look.. The fender radius has been completely been redesigned and custom made around the set of wheels. Meaning, the radius has been expanded to accommodate the 22" inch diameter, so when at first glance, the wheels fit the car near perfectly. This, my friend, is call Radius Fenders.

I know of one other UCF30 in Texas that has done a complete custom Radius Fender job plus he also widened it to fit his extreme negative offset Kranze. This is the next step to customizing your BIPPU or BIPPU inspired rides. Take notes. This is the future.
