'50 Ford w/ VIP Twist

Many of you know I work for Goodguys Rod & Custom here in Pleasanton. We have 24 shows a year around the entire country. Naturally, I come across thousands of photos every event with the good and the very good. Which leads me to this fine example of a 1950 Ford.

This car is just gorgeous. With all the chrome window trimming removed, the car was given a 2-tone treatment and just slammed to the ground. Infact, there are many elements that resemble a Japan VIP build. Notice the wheels. That even look like the Traditional Fabulous Profounds.1950 Fords are very small. In fact they are closer to a Civic 2-door size than the usual "big-boat" we think off when people talk about classic domestic cars.

Always research all years and all genres of cars. Take off them blindfolds and start looking at other cars. Over the years, I've learn by doing so, you will be way more creative when time to build a car than your next door neighbor. The Domestic hot rod industry has been around far longer than the Japanese.

Toyota celebrated their 50th Anniversary recently..
Ford celebrated over 100 Years already.
