Lexus members cruisin' the Vegas strip

Friday night after SEMA ended, Jeff and the gang shot the cars rolling the streets of LV. During one attempt, my LS got sideways and almost took out the camera car where Jeff was actually shooting from inside the trunk.. good times.

SEMA 2010 is a wrap.

ST Suspension

KW Suspension owns Belltech and ST Suspension. A good friend works for Belltech and at the recent Goodguys Autumn Get-Together we bounced some ideas around. In a few weeks, my LS430 will be shipped to their R&D department for product development. Products will be under the ST Suspension brand.

Big things in 2011 !!!

SEMA–MVP: '61 Mercedes 190SL

One of the most talked-about cars at SEMA 2010 was this ultra custom '61 Mercedes in the D-BASF booth. Built by "Hot Rods and Custom Stuff" for a very special client, this is not your regular old school '60s left-over. This infact is a custom built 1-off '61 190SL that has been cleverly altered to fit a 2004 SL600 chassis. A total of 6" inches were widened in the rear and an extreme 9" inches in the front. Everything you see is hand formed metal-work. The grill started life as a hunk of billet aluminum then CNC into a 1-piece work-of-art. Even the vents on top of the hood was CNC in billet for that ultimate perfection. Under the hood is a full Renntech powered twin-turbo V12 motor pushing over 600 horsepower. The wheels are truly unique. Not because the 20" inch billet-wheels were designed after the original hubcaps, but the center Benzo logo actually has weights on the bottom that allows the logo to stay upright at all times. The interior is screaming old and new with the oem navigation and shifter nicely built into the center console while the classic steering and dash reminds you of the good-old-days. Plush and perfect red leather wraps the rest of the interior for that ultimate sport and luxury appeal. The trunk even displayed matching luggage's also finished in the same fine red leather.

By far this Mercedes 190SL was one of the most unique builds of SEMA 2010. Looks for this at next years Goodguys Del Mar events.

SEMA 2010 Coverage part 1

2010 was a big year with lots of ambition and hard work. Exactly 1 year ago during SEMA 2009, JO and I discussed building my Celsior for SEMA debut. Little did we anticipate the project to become 5 full cars and a host of supporting sponsors at this years SEMA show.

Thank you to all the companies that supported my 5 cars at SEMA this year. Each of the sponsors and their contributions created the opportunity to build these VIP platforms and opened a door for further collaborations.

SEMA 2010 Sneak Peak

Here's a sneak into SEMA 2010 during Sunday roll-in.

Platinum VIP built LS430, full Junction Produce kit, Project Mu brakes, Kranze wheels, and Phantom air cups on TEIN coilovers.

Hybrid EVO painted in candy blue..

Crazy vinyl graphic on S14 with Vertex and WORK wheels.

GT Haus E92 BMW M3. This was finished in Matte White rocking Savini wheels.

Misha kitted SL55 rocking all brushed concave Forigoto wheels.

Mansory kitted Porsche Panamera Turbo with more Forigoto wheels.

New colors offered by Forgestar for all you JDM Hellaflush peeps.

Freeman South hall setup.

One big air bag !!!!

Stretched Toyota Sienna in the Toyota booth. Comes with a conference room and swivel seats.

C&A Custom Concepts built Toyota Prius. This electric hybrid will be one hot car at SEMA.. the lines are so aggressive with the extreme widebody aero kit, center exit exhaust, crisp edge design front bumper, Bonneville looking wheels and all right hand-drive. Don't miss this car. Incredible.

Speed by Spectre brought out their recent record breaking Bonneville 400 MPH race car.. little words can describe this stealth piece of machine.

Speed by Spectre '70 Camaro rocking 1-piece carbon fiber nose and hood. Notice the inner high beam lights were replace with an intake scoop.. SIK!

HONDA booth pushed their just launched CRZ Hybrid sport 2 seater-beater. There were 8-9 killer examples of mild street to fully blown track prepped CRZ's on display. The HONDA rep was not that nice asking me not to take photos.. well, that inspired me to take more..

Standard (STD) coilovers were being launched into the US market this year. I had a chat with their "manager" during setup.. little did he know, I had a set of STD coilovers that and after 1 minute of chatting, I realized he knew nothing about his own product.

Bumblebee made an appearance..

Complete AIMGAIN LS430 demo car.. no fog lights and the height was very weksos.. nonetheless a complete demo car.

More later..
